Kettering is very well positioned right in the heart of England and is just one hours commute by train to central London.
With its excellent road and rail links, Kettering is within two hours from three quarters of the country’s population.
London is one hour on the train with a direct link to St Pancras making journeys into Paris fast and straight forward. Both East Midlands and Birmingham airports are within easy travelling distance making Kettering well placed for international travel.
The Highways Agency have announced plans to widen the A14 that runs directly to the South of the Town. In addition, £20 million has been earmarked for improvement to the highway network in the town centre.
The train line has recently been extended to connect with Corby and the Council and its partners are working with Network Rail to ensure that the Midland Mainline remains a priority for future investment.
